This is a legend indeed, the story of how a man began a journey to seek a greatly priced pearl that no one could get. His name – MERCHANT.

Like all super hero stories, this great man also began small in search of this great pearl. The journey looked impossible. Many great men, kings and skilled warriors tried but failed. But Merchant wasn’t going to fail the world; he was the world’s last hope.

A long time ago, as written in the ancient Holy book, in the book of Matthew 13:45 was a prophecy:

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:” KJV

Someone named Merchant began a journey to seek a pearl of great price. That person is the only one who has been ordained by God for such a purpose. His job was simple: Find the great Pearl, save the world. 

What you are reading today is more than a lesson, more than a teaching. It is a map to this great pearl. You have been specially chosen. Now, let’s begin by decoding the mystery of this great pearl.

Ages ago, when the creator created the earth, He made it beautiful and conducive to house one of His creation: man. Unfortunately, there was a Prince who wasn’t happy about the love that the Creator had for man so he resorts to poison the heart of men against their creator. Prince, who rules as the prince of the power of the air, deceived man and man became corrupt. The creator could no longer relate with man. Therefore, His kingdom left the earth He had created. According to Genesis 6:3, His kingdom which happens to be the Holy Spirit could no longer strive with man. Man became pitiful, without hope and without strength. Prince began to rule man and subjected man to bondage. All creation was destroyed under his rule. But all hope wasn’t lost yet. The creator hid His kingdom in a greatly priced pearl so that whoever would be blessed by God to seek this pearl would liberate man from bondage and the dominion of Prince. A prophecy was given and stories were told of how that someone named Merchant would begin a journey. A journey that will take a lifetime to seek the kingdom of God, be transformed by it and change the World. 

Our journey as believers is a holy journey to seek this Pearl of great price who is the Holy Spirit. That we will get to the place of intimacy and knowledge of Him. The hope of the world is the Kingdom of God in manifestation and there is no Kingdom of God without the Holy Spirit. We are that Merchant who has begun a journey to seek the Holy Spirit. It is not about religion, it is about intimacy. There is no hope in this world, things are getting worser and worser. This journey of Christianity is the only hope of the world and it is all about intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
